A message from our Founder & Artistic Director:

Create is dedicated to bringing people together, building cultural awareness and helping kids develop emotional intelligence. We believe that it is our job as adults to nurture the empathy, creativity and intelligence that children possess and sometimes that means having difficult conversations, like ones about racism.
The Black community is hurting and they need our support. We as individuals can show our support in many different forms like protesting, donating to Black organizations and shopping at local stores with Black owners, taking time to educating yourself and having tough conversations with people of all ages.
I encourage you to have discussions with your children, friends and families about what it means to be anti-racist. Below are some resources to help:
Create supports Black Lives Matter and paused operations on Tuesday, June 2 as part of the #TheShowMustBePaused movement to show support, reflect and educate ourselves. We will continue to stand in solidarity with the Black community.
